Philipp Dätwyler graduated at the University of Basel and received his license as pharmacist in 2013. He conducted his master thesis about the synthesis and pharmacokinetic characterisation of FimH-antagonists under the guidance of Professor Beat Ernst. In January 2014 he joined the Molecular Pharmacy group as a PhD student. His research is focused on pharmacokinetic characterisation of glycomimetics.
