Dominique Ditter graduated in Biomedical Science and Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim, Germany in January 2013. She conducted her master thesis on developing standard lyophilization cycles for varying crystallinity excipient formulations at Vetter Development Services, Inc., Skokie, IL (USA).
After her graduation she was employed by Vetter Development Services, Inc., Skokie, IL (USA). The implementation of new lyophilization processes into the production and staff training were among her competences until September 2013. Until the end of the year, she was joining the production support at Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim, Germany working in the particle laboratory.
In January 2014 she joined the Pharmaceutical Technology group as a PhD student. Her research is focused on the interaction of parenteral drug products with primary packaging surfaces investigated for glass vials.
