Maryam Farzan graduated with a Pharm.D degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She worked on nanoparticulate drug delivery systems for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma in her undergraduate research and thesis. After her studies, she worked as a pharmacist in community and hospital pharmacies in Iran for 1.5 years.
She joined the research group of Pharmaceutical Technology in January 2017 as a PhD student. Her project is focused on enhancing solubility of water-insoluble drugs by modification of a novel excipient with phospholipids.
