Janine Hussner (*1982) graduated from the University of Greifswald (Germany) with a Diploma degree in Humanbiology (Majors: Pharmacology & Medical Biochemistry) in September 2009. Prior to her studies of biology she was trained as laboratory assistance (2000-2004), and worked as technical assistance at the University of Leipzig Institute of Zoology and Biochemistry. In 2009 Janine started her PhD at the Center of Drug Absorption and Transport (Department of Pharmacology, University of Greifswald). Her research focused on novel approaches for cardiovascular drug eluting devices. In November 2015 she completed her PhD at the University of Basel in the group of Biopharmacy. Her current projects are focused on drug transporters and in vitro pharmacokinetics.
