External PhD-Student Amy Klemd
Amy Marisa Klemd studied biology with a focus on immunobiology at the Alberts-Ludwigs University Freiburg i. Br., Germany. She completed her Master studies in the research group of PD Dr. Carsten Gründemann at the Institute for Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology in Freiburg, Germany and worked on a cooperation project about the influence of extracts from plants used in Traditional Chinese Medicine on the human immune system together with the research group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Hamburger at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology. Amy Marisa Klemd finished her Master studies with a Master thesis about the “Influence of Artemisia argyi on the function of human immune cells”. After obtaining her Master degree she started her Ph.D in February 2017 proceeding the investigation on the influence of Artemisia argyi and its compounds on human immune cells.
