Roger joined the Molecular and Systems Toxicology group at the University of Basel in September 2012. He studied  the impact of inflammatory states on promoter activation, relative gene expression and activity of 17β-HSD3 and AKR1C3 and graduated with a Master in Pharmaceutical Science in Spring 2013. He started his PhD within the same Molecular and Systems Toxicology  group at the University of Basel in July 2013
