Sandro Sieber graduated from the University of Basel as a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He conducted his master thesis in the field of hepatocyte targeted drug delivery systems and the development of gold loaded nanocarriers. In November 2014 he joined the research group Pharmaceutical Technology of Prof. Dr. Huwyler at the University of Basel. His research is focused on the development of a multifunctional drug delivery system for pancreatic cancer.
