Alina graduated in Pharmacy at the Odessa National Medical University, Ukraine, in 2017. Her diploma thesis focused on a plant remedy against couperose ‘Development of the composition and technology for the medical cosmetic remedy for prevention and treatment of couperose (telangiectasia) on the basis of medical plant Sophora Japonica’. Alina completed her studies with a one-year internship in General Pharmacy at the Odessa National Medical University and the pharmacy network Odespharm. She then continued at the same University, first in the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy and then in the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology, with the aim to obtain her PhD. She participated in the scientific research of germanium pharmacokinetics. Due to the changing situation, Alina then joined the group of Molecular and Systems Toxicology in June 2023 to start her PhD focusing on investigating mechanisms determining cell-specific sensitivity towards glucocorticoids.
