Anna Bollinger graduated from the University of Bonn, Germany, obtaining her master’s degree in Drug Research from the Department of Pharmacy in 2021. Through a mentorship in the research group of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Jaehde, she specialized in the disciplines of clinical pharmacy within the master’s program. Her master’s thesis was conducted at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany, at the Department for Infections and Cancer Epidemiology.

In 2022, she joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Basel, Switzerland, as a PhD student. Her PhD research focuses on the clinical impact of pharmacogenotyping in enhancing drug safety and efficacy - with the overarching goal of translating pharmacogenetics research into clinical practice to advance personalized medicine in Switzerland.
