Anna Bollinger graduated from the University of Bonn, Germany, obtaining her master‘s degree in Drug Research from the Department of Pharmacy in 2021. Through a mentorship in the research group of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Jaehde, she specialized in the disciplines of clinical pharmacy as a part of her master‘s program.
To further expand her multidisciplinary education, she conducted her master thesis at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany, at the Department for Infections and Cancer Epidemiology.
In 2022, she joined the Pharmaceutical Care Research Group as a PhD student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Basel, Switzerland. Her PhD research focuses on pharmacogenetics in pharmaceutical care, combining the concepts of clinical pharmacy with those of biopharmacy and modern genetics. Moreover, she is an assistant in the master’s program and an author for i.mail-offizin, a periodic pharmaceutical magazine.
