Florine Wiss graduated from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and received the federal diploma as a pharmacist in 2016. Before joining the Pharmaceutical Care Research Group in Basel, she has worked for two years in a community pharmacy in Thun and for three years at the cantonal hospital in Olten, where she has completed further training as a clinical pharmacist. Her PhD thesis focuses on pharmacogenotyping and the implementation of pharmacogenetical results in the interprofessional setting of a hospital. In addition to her PhD thesis, she continues to work as a clinical pharmacist at the cantonal hospital in Olten.
