Katja Suter is a pharmacist specialized in hospital pharmacy (FPH Hospital Pharmacy) and works in the Department of Clinical Research. She advises clinical researchers and supports them during grant applications and early project phases, fostering collaboration across multiprofessional teams. In addition, she serves as Research on Research (RoR) coordinator within the Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation (SCTO), focusing on evidence-based improvements to clinical research infrastructure across the Swiss clinical research network.

She is also a lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where she teaches evidence-based pharmacy; the teaching concept was awarded with the EbM Network Teaching Award 2025.

She led the INPUT project, a national survey commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH), which focused on the experiences of participants in clinical trials.
