Nina Wittwer was born on the 15th of April 1995 in the canton of Berne, Switzerland. She studied Pharmacy at the University of Basel and graduated in 2018 with a MSc in Pharmacy and the Swiss Federal Pharmacist’s Diploma. After graduating, she obtained experience in various pharmacy fields such as a Spanish community pharmacy, a hospital pharmacy and a Swiss community pharmacy.

In May 2021 she joined the Basel Pharmacoepidemiology Unit at the University Hospital Basel as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph R. Meier.
