The museum's courtyard is transformed into a bathhouse modeled after medieval designs. The bathing experience is accompanied by cupping and Kneipp treatments, live music from the university of applied sciences, and, of course, the Badebeizli.
Lunchtime at the Bathhouse: Bathing Week 2026 – July 1–4, 2026
Join us as we step back in time to when our building, “Zum Sessel,” housed a medieval bathhouse. Relax with a herbal bath in a wooden tub, treat yourself to a cupping massage, or let the Kneipp Association of Basel introduce you to the art of Kneipp therapy. In our bathhouse café, you’ll be treated to culinary delights, while live Renaissance music provides auditory enjoyment.
