In its meeting today, the Senate elected Professor Martin Wallraff as the new President of the University of Basel. The University Council promptly approved the decision. The church historian, who was a professor in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Basel from 2005 to 2016, will succeed Professor Andrea Schenker-Wicki on 1 August 2027. Read more
