Florian Meyer graduated from the University of Basel with a Master in Drug Sciences in August 2022. He conducted his master thesis “Development of novel complement initiation pathway inhibitors by using protein engineering approaches“ in the Molecular Pharmacy Group at the University of Basel under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Daniel Ricklin.

After his master’s thesis, Florian worked as an intern at Roche in the manufacturing department for parenteral clinical drug candidates.

In January 2024 he rejoined the Molecular Pharmacy Group as a PhD-student. His research focuses on the development of therapeutic modulators and assay systems for complement-related cell disorders.
