Brenda Gaillard obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Biology at the University of Lausanne in 2020. During her studies, she joined the group of Prof. Camilla Jandus at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research to work on her Master’s project “Towards Life-Span Extension of Innate Lymphoid Cells by hTERT”.

After graduating, she joined Roche Glycart as a Research Associate in Cancer Immunotherapy, where she had the opportunity to work on various therapeutic molecules and cancer indications.

In April 2024, she started a PhD at Roche Glycart with the academic supervision of Prof. Alex Odermatt. The title of her PhD project is “Mitigations of Immune-Related Adverse Events Induced by Cancer Immunotherapies and Effects on T Cell Functionality”.
