Stephan Gut graduated from the University of Basel in 2013, and obtained the MSc in pharmacy and the Swiss Federal Pharmacist’s Diploma. Following graduation he worked in community pharmacy until the end of 2014. In 2015 he proceeded with a one year further education program in clinical pharmacy at the University Hospital Basel and obtained the FPH-Diploma in clinical pharmacy. Since July 2016 he works as a clinical pharmacist and a PhD student at the University Hospital Basel. The PhD research project has its main focus on the improvement of patient safety and transition of care management.
