Lukas Kofler completed his Master’s degree in Biological Chemistry at the University of Vienna, graduating with honors in 2024. In his Master thesis project, he investigated differences of the miRNA cargo of plasma-derived extracellular vesicles in healthy adults. Lukas then transferred to Looplab Bio, a Viennese biotech startup, where he developed an assay to demonstrate proof-of-concept of a Fc-based platform aimed at treating allergies and autoimmune disease. At the MolSysTox group, he is now establishing novel assays and conditions to identify endogenous and exogenous factors affecting MR and GR activities, and characterize their consequences in different cell types.
