Nadja Stohler received her federal diploma in pharmacy from the University of Basel in 2003. In 2004 she completed a 13-month post-graduate training program in clinical pharmacy at the Central Institute of the Valais Hospitals in Sion, Switzerland, obtaining an FPH-Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy. Since 2005, Nadja Stohler has been working for the Swiss Association of Pharmacists in Bern and is mainly involved in the project "Physicians-Pharmacists Quality Circles". The project is focused on providing independent and up-to-date information on new drugs, clinical studies and guidelines in the field of pharmaceutical sciences to pharmacists and physicians. Her main role within the project is researching and drafting course modules as well as presenting these to pharmacists at seminars in German-speaking Switzerland. Alongside these activities Nadja Stohler worked intermittently in a community pharmacy in the Basel region. In May 2010 Nadja Stohler joined the Division of Clinical Pharmacy and Epidemiology of Prof. Dr. Christoph Meier as a teaching and research associate.
