David Wang, born in November 2000, joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology in June 2025. He studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Bern and graduated in 2022 with a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He continued his studies at the University of Basel and graduated in 2024 with a MSc in Pharmacy and the Swiss Federal Pharmacist's Diploma. He is working in the team of Prof. Dr. Jörg Huwyler on a collaborative project with Prof. Daniel Pinschewer from the Department of Biomedicine. The aim of his project will be the development of scalable approaches to incorporate full-length viral envelope proteins into synthetic LNPs to create synthetic virions (SVs) loaded with either RNA or DNA.
