Evrim Ümit Kuzucu graduated from the University of Basel as a Master in Drug Sciences in 2022.

He conducted his master thesis on the investigation and optimization of non-viral gene delivery transfer (Investigation of Core-Shell Structured Chitosan-Polyethyleneimine Nanoparticles for Gene Delivery) in the group of Prof. Dr. J. Huwyler. In October 2022 Evrim Ümit joined the research group Pharmaceutical Technology of Prof. Dr. Jörg Huwyler at the University of Basel as a PhD student. His current research focuses on non-viral gene delivery methods with lipid nanoparticles for liver-related genetic diseases.
